I'd say that the relationship between jeanettes mother and father is acccidental because if he had not looked at jeanettes mother hed never met her and even if he did if he not jumped after her he would never of tried and tried again because after he jumped he tried and tried again(all this was stated in the first page).
I would characterize their relationship as chaotic, because they married each other in six weeks of meeting. And, they aren't responsible, because they let each other do whatever they want ( like dad doing drugs and drinking ).
The reader would characterize the relationship between Jeanette's mother and father as a weird relationship. However, they do have a loving thing between them but sometimes it can be on and off. In the book it shows actual evidence of how there on and off
I think that the family is loving but in many ways unusual and uncareful 😨. i also think that they dont care for their opinions and that if they let the pain continue to hurt them that they will get tougher
