  4. The message that the author leaves behind is that family sticks together even though they go through a lot and is not a such perfect family. And there will always going to be challenges throughout your life that your gonna have to face. And about fear is that your going to have to confront it and stand up for yourself.

  5. The life lessons from the glass castle that family may not perfect but the bond between you and your family will always be strong. What life lessons that walls convey's about family and its challenges is that family has many challenges but each of them has to soldier it out and not give in to the fear because fear is strong and it has taken down civiliczations but if you look fear in the eye and not be afraid you can continue.(idk :P)

  9. The message the author leaves behind for us is, that her family has been through a lot and that it's not a perfect family, just like how the Joshua tree is, and how the branches are "twisted and gnarled", and how the tree looks like it's about to fall but the roots hold the tree up ( like the family have a strong bond, holding the "tree" together. ). The Challenges they have experienced has been tough but they still turn out fine, and still together. Jeanette personally grew from all of these experiences and I feel that with mom's newborn Jeanette will personally grow even more!
